While I love the Insurance industry, and helping to make sure that my client’s assets and futures are protected, I really wanted to have another business in Gainesville that was more retail based, and still helped to connect me to the community in a personal way. I had known Lonie Carpenter my partner for many years and we were married in 2008. Lonie had been working as a stylist for many years in Gainesville and was known as one of the best. It had always been  his dream to operate a luxury salon in Gainesville and offer the residents here the finest in hair and skin care. In early 2008 that is just what we did. Since Mode Salon opened we have both grown as individuals and the businesses has grown as well. It has been a truly wonderful experience to watch my partner realize his dream and to work with him side by side as we accomplished that goal. Today we manage two locations Mode East and Mode West both unique but sharing one culture and offering the finest in products from around the world.
