Services Explained

Base Color - Root retouch using permanent color. Full grey coverage at its finest.

Maintenace: 4 - 8weeks, no more than 12 weeks.

Full Color - Root to ends permanent color. For those looking for a total transformation or to shift their natural color.

Grey Blending - Demi-permanent, semi-translucent color to camouflage greys. A natural effect without full coverage.

Face Frame - Brighten up the face area with foils, also a money piece. Everything from the back of the ears forward. For those wanting more light around the face.

Surface Foil - Forehead to the back of the crown, includes hairline. Just the surface, subtle and beautiful.

Partial Foil - Surface and Face Frame combined: foils placed all around top section of heads. Brighten or refresh the most noticed areas of the hair.

Full Foil - Full head foil placement for those who like to see highlights around their nape when hair is pulled up.

Balayage - Sun-kissed natural looking hair. Hand painted sections with a rooted look. Subtle and dimensional.

Foilyage - Brighter than a balayage with a rooted look. Perfect for those wanting a bright but lived-in look.

Bleach and Tone - Roots to end blonding with full saturation of lightener. Tone to desired shade.

Maintenance; 4 - 8 weeks root regrowth touchup.

Babylights - Subtle highlights, less dimension and more of a diffused blonde. Add-on service to any foiling appointment.

Platinum Card - Every piece of hair is foiled for a high lift blonde to achieve an all-over bright result, little to no dimension. Maintenance: bleach and tone touch-up on regrowth after 4 - 6 weeks.

Mode Blow dry - The signature Mode look. Round brush, wet to dry blowout. Added on to any hair service.

Event Style - Updo or Downstyle. Schedule a consultation with a stylist to ensure you receive the exact style you desire for your special day.

Hair Extensions

Hair Extension appointments are by consultation only. We use the highest quality human hair on the market and currently offer tape-in extensions by Bellami. Our stylists want to help you extend the life of your hair extensions, and will recommend proper maintenance at your visit:

- How-to properly shampoo.

- How-to properly brush.

- Your stylist will recommend the appropriate Aveda system for your hair type and texture.

Our stylists are certified in the following installation methods through Bellami:

K-Tips -- Installed with a heated bond tool, small in size, low maintenance, great for adding density to select parts of thinning hair, suitable for all hair types.
I-Tips -- Tiny beads installed without heat, can be moved up and reused for up to a year, can create a highlighted effect without the bleach, dimensional and customizable.
Sew-Ins: Volume Wefts and Hand Tied Wefts -- The best method to add length to thick hair or density to lower volume hair, sewn in without glue or heat, installed in larger sections, invisible and can be moved up/reused for up to a year.
Tape-Ins -- Lay flat against the head and best for down styling, great for fine/thin hair, reusable for up to a year, tape is removed once every 6-12 weeks and reinstalled.

If you notice your extensions start to tangle or mat please give us a call and we can help instruct you on detangling methods. Please be aware if you arrive to your move-up appointment with mats and tangles there will be a $50 charge per hour of detangling.

Cancelation Policy

Mode Aveda understands that sometimes schedules change and therefore requests at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. A credit card is required to hold your appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” for will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service amount. We value our stylist's expertise and time, we thank you for your consideration and understanding in adhering to our cancelation policy.

Adjustments / Returns & Exchanges

1. Services received cannot be refunded. We will gladly adjust any service you receive within 7 days of your service.

If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your hair can be visually inspected or send a photo. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the stylist who performed the initial service, at no additional charge to you. Please note your adjustment services are placed with the stylist who performed the hair service, thank you for understanding.

2. Product exchanges will only be considered if presented within 7 days of purchase. Products can only be exchanged if with a receipt and in its original packaging. We are not able to offer refunds on products, but are happy to have you consult with a stylist on finding the best product for you and process an exchange.

3. No refunds are given for gift card purchases. Thank you for understanding.

Services Costs

We believe in fully transparent pricing at Mode. We charge by the service and customize every service ticket to the individual needs of our guests. If you have very long and thick hair the cost of your color appointment will likely be quoted higher for time and product usage than a guest with short, fine hair.

We offer quotes for all services before your appointment and then offer a cost breakdown at the time of your appointment. Questions about pricing are best handled over the phone, where you may be asked to come in for a complimentary consultation if the front desk requires more information.

Our Services page lists the starting price for our New Artists/Assistants, but please be aware our more experienced stylists prices do vary.

If you have a color corrective service or would like a highly customized service, you will be asked to come in for a consultation so we can book out the proper time and cost. Consultations are free of charge.
